SIGHTSEEING

Nokonoshima Island

Nokonoshima is a naturally abundant island in Hakata Bay. It takes about 10 minutes by ferry from the Noko Ferry Terminal. There, you'll find lush greenery spread across the island. Among this natural beauty lies Nokonoshima Island Park, a park surrounded by flowers that adorn the seasons all year round. Covering approximately 150,000 square meters in the northern part of Nokonoshima, it is cherished as one of Fukuoka's renowned flower spots. Here, you can forget about city life and enjoy a moment of tranquility.

During the summer, the northern coast of Nokonoshima Island, popular for swimming, hosts the "Nokonoshima Camp Village." This spot offers a full set of rental equipment for camping and cooking, allowing you to enjoy barbecues and outdoor activities even if you come empty-handed. With its white sandy beaches, sea, and palm trees with swings, you'll feel like you've stepped into a resort.
